In the match of the 1st round of this group E of the 2018 World Cup in Russia in this Sunday’s game against Rostov Arena, the Brazilian national team and the Swiss national team will play the first match between the two teams since 2013, being that the last official game between both dates of 1950, also relative to the World-wide Championship of that year, with a tie to two balls at the time.

The formation of Brazil, one of the clear favorites to the conquest of the current competition, enters this journey after a route practically untouchable in terms of his qualification campaign for this World Cup in Russia, having finished the qualifying phase in the lead of the CONCACAF qualifying table and with a very positive record of 12 victories added in 18 days, being clearly the most scoring and dominating team among the ten that made up this campaign.

The team also comes from a good phase of results, not losing six consecutive games.

I do not think this game will end otherwise than with a sure triumph of the South Americans, not only because of the difference at the individual level but also because, with Tite, this Brazil is a much more capable team as a team, with all the points in favor of this aspect, something that faces a fragile but fragile Switzerland (despite its consistency, it is a team with several fragilities, namely defensive) will be a big favor, something that I believe will arrive to guarantee a triumph of the Brazilians. If we add to that the weaknesses that Switzerland also has at offensive level (lacking a spearhead class, which the team does not have) to add to the great defensive consistency of the Brazilians, I think this bet might be interesting.

This is because there are no value odds, in my view, in other markets (such as the Asian handicap).
