In a Europa League filled with close-level teams, the great balance games are almost an inevitability

But perhaps no other meeting beyond RB Leipzig – Marseille says so much about the interest aroused by this competition. While Leipzig is building its European side in a race where it has aspirations to win, Marseille believes that, with a disputed final in France, there may also be a door to affirm on a higher level here. Being that both are also in the fight to arrive at the League of Champions through the respective championships, this game is a promise of good soccer.

Taking into account, however, that the sector where the RB Leipzig can be stronger is exactly the sector where Marseille has more difficulties.

One would expect a defensive line with problems to insure the speed and quality of the movements of the Red Bull by the French team, but with the injuries of Rami and Rolando, the accounting becomes even more difficult to do. In that space, the advantage goes clearly to the Germans.

At the same time, with the ball, the Marseille team meets a lot of quality and could be dangerous against a well balanced RB Leipzig in attack.
This is, incidentally, one of the attractions of this match, the offensive capacity of both teams that can transform the game into a great offensive spectacle.

Goal guarantee looks right. But at home, responsibility lies on the side of Leipzig, while Marseille should be tempted to ensure a lower starting pace with more stops, thus preventing RB Leipzig’s moment of superiority from collapsing.
