RB Leipzig vs Porto – Featured Picks

With both teams separated by only two points at the entrance for this day 3 being, curiously, both have the same number of goals conceded.

On the side of the Germans, Stefan Ilsanker and Klostermann are injured by injury; on the Portuguese side, the only casualty should be Soares, also to accounts with an injury.

Leipzig are having a generally positive start to the season, being close to the top spot in the German national championship,

but things are not going so well in the Champions League, where it only adds 1 point in 6 possible and has a somewhat poor offensive record until you see.

Given that this is the first experience of the team at the level of the Champions League and given that it is an extremely young team, the youngest in the competition,

these can be good justifications for this poorer start on Hasenhuttl’s side.

On Porto’s side, after a clear-cut triumph at the Estádio Luís II, the team has once again come close to the goals set for this season in the Champions League,

after the somewhat surprising defeat suffered at home to the Turkish champions.

The team are making a great start to the season, only tainted by their defeat against Besiktas and a draw in Alvalade, coming from a rout of the Portuguese Cup.
Prognosis Leipzig vs Porto:

Given that both teams normally have an offensive and intense football at that level,

I see this match to have some goals effectively, if the defenses are not a perfect day, nor the goalkeepers themselves.

So I believe in a game with a few goals,

it remains to be seen whether both offensives will be able to overcome the opposing defenses and take advantage of their mistakes, which will arise, I believe,

given that both formations play a football that, although it is visually showy, also is more propitious to defensive errors.
