Diego Schwartzman has long ceased to be just the sandpit expert he came to earlier. This season, even the results on grass were very strong, although he does not feel very comfortable on the fast green. As number 21 in the world, he just has a lot of self-confidence and does not hide from the competition on any surface.
The big highlight on hard court was the tournament victory in early August in Los Cabos when he beat Taylor Fritz in the final.
