It has an incredible service, the best to serve on the tour and your game is all dependent on it. Likes to always climb to the net and defensively, bet a lot on the slice, throwing the backhand to a hand.

He is more of a slow player, he is defensive, he likes to play from the bottom of the court and covers well the whole track being a player more tailored for the rallies. It is quite sturdy.
Karlovic is one of the few players on the tour who already knows what to expect. The player has always been a great server, it is the best of the tour, he does an average of 25/30 aces per game and the faster the track, the easier it will be.
If there were no tennis services, the Croatian was a player to be playing ITFS, at best challengers as he plays very uncomfortably and always tries to get on the network, even at non propitious times.
Even so, no one will ever forget him when he hangs up the racket. Hertogenbosch finished this year (lost to Gilles Mullher).
As for Guido Pella, I always thought he was a player that was going to stay in the challengers (as well as many South Americans) but he has improved immensely and has shown that it is not only on clay that has quality.

He is a very resistant player, he likes to change balls and to play in the opponent’s error, playing defensively.
Have a good reading of the game and this is one of the games to prove that same. I also emphasize his resistance, being able to endure long games without accusing. This year has already beaten great players like Thiem and won the challenger of Milan and Floridabanca.
In conclusion, this is a 50/50 game and Karlovic is in a bad shape, while Pella has a lot of improvement.
That said, I would rather believe in the player who knows how to change balls and be smart and not in a player who has only one weapon and I will go to the South American.
