The two outstanding catch-up games in French Ligue 1 were played on Wednesday and Thursday before the fourth matchday kicked off on Friday evening. In the French Ligue 1, there are usually two permanent relegations and the third last has to be relegated, but due to the special circumstances in the previous season, relegation was waived. Change of coach has taken place
