Tottenham vs Watford Soccer Tips

Tottenham’s place in next season’s Champions League is far from assured, but with Mauricio Pochettino’s men hosting a Watford side without purpose, this is as much of a gimme as Tottenham could hope for.
Ignoring the defeat suffered at the hands of Man City in their last home game, Tottenham’s home form since the winter has been outstanding. With Tottenham taking 28 home points from the last 33, this should be a stroll for Pochettino’s men.
Watford’s away form, by contrast, has utterly imploded. In a damning run stretching back to December 9, the Hornets have taken just a solitary point from a possible 30 on the road. They are, of course, comfortably bottom of the ten-game away form table.
The visitors making the short trip south must also note and respect Tottenham’s perfect return of 36 points from the 12 occasions on which they have led at half-time. On the road, Watford have taken just one from 21 when trailing at the break.
Ahead of kickoff, Pochettino has moved to clarify where his future lies, saying: “(There is) still a lot of work to do. I think it’s an exciting project at Tottenham.”

Soccer Picks Players watch:

There is a chance that Danny Rose could make an impact at some point, having found himself out of favour this season. Positional rival Ben Davies, however, remains the man with the greater average of forward passes (27.56 per game).
Andre Gray was on the scoresheet the last time Watford won away. With Troy Deeney out, Gray is looking for his first goal since January 13.

Stat soccer pick attack:

Watford have taken ZERO points from 12 in away matches against Tottenham in the Premier League, last beating Tottenham away in October 1994 (EFL Cup).
Tottenham have scored first in four of their last five games against Watford, scoring in eight successive meetings with the Hertfordshire club.

Soccer Prediction: Both to score NO
Odds: 1.70
