Tennis Prediction

Tonight we have a very intersting match for online betting. Try our tennis prediction: Victoria Azarenka vs Karolina Pliskova at WTA – SINGLES: Miami (USA), hard.
Azarenka leads the H2H 2-1. Their last meeting was at 2016 Indian Wells when Azarenka won (in two hours and 5 minutes) as a part of her 16-match winning streak while Pliskova outlasted Azarenka (in three hours and 13 minutes) in their other hard-court meeting which happened at Brisbane in 2015.

Victoria Azarenka News

Victoria Azarenka recorded her first win over longtime rival and 2012 Miami champion Aga Radwanska since Doha 2013 to move into the quarterfinal (Azarenka now leads the H2H 14-5). The Belarusian needed just an hour and 23 minutes to finish the job.
Azarenka has also defeated #15 Madison Keys (retirement), #17 Sevastova and #45, CiCi Bellis. These wins extend her winning streak at Miami to 10. The last three opponents Azarenka lost to in Miami are now retired (Clijsters, Pennetta, and Bartoli).
Every time Azarenka has won the quarterfinal match at the Miami Open (3-1), she went on to win the title (2009, 2011 and 2016). Only Serena Williams (8) and Steffi Graf (5) have won more titles at Miami than her.
In 2016, a month before announcing her pregnancy, Azarenka became the third women to achieve the Sunshine Doubles (Clijsters and Graf). During that sweep, she defeated five current or future slam winners (Stosur, Williams, Muguruza, Kerber, Kuznetsova).

Karolina Pliskova News

Karolina Pliskova enters the Miami quarterfinal for the third time in her career after Zarina Diyas had to retire due to abdomen issues while trailing 6-2 2-1. Pliskova has a 1-1 record in her previous Miami quarterfinals (lost to Wozniacki in the semifinal last year).
Moreover, Pliskova has reached four other quarterfinals this season but ended up losing three of them (1/3). While in career Premier Mandatory quarterfinals, Pliskova has a 3-2 record (reached the back-to-back semifinal at Indian Wells and Miami last year).
Earlier this fortnight, Pliskova defeated Makarova in straight sets (previously 0-3 against the Russian) followed by a close match against Su-Wei Hsieh (the Taiwanese forced a third set tiebreaker after saving six match points).
In this battle between the former world #1s, both players have different things working for them. While Pliskova has certainly played much more tennis than Azarenka in recent times, the Belarusian’s record (of 36-6) at Miami eclipses the Czech’s (13-5).
