Chelsea vs Liverpool Soccer Prediction
Buckle up! It’s time for a Premier League (PL) classic as reigning champions Chelsea welcome freshly qualified Champions League (CL) finalists Liverpool to Stamford Bridge. It is an absolute must-win for the home team, who will still have hope of a top-four finish with three points.
Should Chelsea get the win here and in their final two matches, they qualify for next seasons CL if Liverpool fail to beat Brighton on the last day of the season. Tottenham have an accommodating last game of the season, so this is probably Chelsea’s best shot.
After a bad slump, Chelsea have regained their steel, if not their finesse: three close-fought wins (3-2, 2-1, 1-0) have just been enough to distance themselves from Arsenal in sixth and have a shot at the top four.
For Liverpool, the ‘Top Four Recipe’ is simple: get at least a draw against Chelsea, OR win at home against Brighton in the last gameweek. With the CL final in Kiev to prepare for, there’s little doubt that Jurgen Klopp would like to have his cake baked as soon as possible.

Who else? PL top-scorer Mohamed Salah may not have found the net in the two last matches, but has scored at least one goal in nine of his last eleven PL matches (13 goals).
