Mackenzie McDonald vs Andreas Seppi Tennis Prediction

Mackenzie McDonald made a winning start to the grass season by defeating Peter Polansky in the first round fo Surbiton Challenger last week but failed to add more wins as he lost to Matthew Ebden in the following match, who went on to reach the semifinals.
The 23-year-old McDonald, who won four matches as a qualifier at the Australian Open earlier this season, has made at least the quarterfinals in three of his last four tournaments, at Busan Challenger (QF), Gimcheon Challenger (QF) and Seoul Challenger (W).
ATP Hertogenbosch debutant, Mackenzie McDonald, is granted a main draw wildcard by the tournament this week. He enjoyed a decent grass season in 2017 (6/4) and will be hoping to have a similar campaign in 2018 as well.
Andreas Seppi suffered his first setback of the season when he lost cheaply to Richard Gasquet in the first round of the French Open, 0-6 2-6 2-6. Apart from that, he is having a fine season with 23 wins and 14 losses, which is only five less than his entire 2017 tally (28/29).
The Italian will look to get back to the winning ways as soon as possible. He has entered ATP Hertogenbosch thrice in the past, reached the round of 16 in 2007, lost the first round match in 2016 and again reached the round of 16 in 2017.
Andreas Seppi has done reasonably well on grass throughout his career, having won 62 matches (62/41). In 2017, he won six from the possible ten (6/4), which also includes a semifinal appearance in ATP Antalya.
Both Seppi and McDonald will be content with the draw as they meet for the first time. That said, experience on tour and grass makes Andreas Seppi the favorite in this clash.

Tennis Prediction: Andreas Seppi
Odds: 1.50
