Tennis Prediction

the best tennis pick for today is: Victoria Azarenka vs Anastasija Sevastova at WTA – SINGLES: Miami (USA), hard.
Azarenka will take on Sevastova for the first time in her career. The Latvian doesn’t have much history at Miami, while Azarenka is the most dominant player at this tournament after Serena Williams in recent years and shows off a 33-6 record here.

Victoria Azarenka News

Three-time champion, Victoria Azarenka is on an eight-match winning run at Miami after she skipped the 2017 edition due to maternity break. She breezed past two Americans this week, CiCi Bellis and Madison Keys, without dropping a set (Keys retired).
Azarenka’s 2016 triumph here made her only the third woman (after Graf in 1994 and 1996, and Clijsters in 2005) to achieve the Sunshine Double. She is the most recent Miami champion to remain in the draw.
She is also the last remaining Belarusian in the draw after the exit of Sasnovich and Sabalenka.
Azarenka returned to tennis in June 2017 following the childbirth to play the grass tournament at Mallorca. She lost in the second round there (lost to Konjuh) and played her last match of the season in the fourth round of Wimbledon (lost to Halep).

Anastasija Sevastova News

Anastasija Sevastova won her career’s first Miami main draw match by defeating Alize Cornet in the opening round, 7-5 6-4. The only qualifying round match she won here was way back in 2010.
At the Indian Wells last fortnight, she secured two excellent wins over Monica Puig and Julia Goerges to set up a meeting with Venus Williams. She pushed Williams but ultimately lost the match in two close sets (7-6 6-4).
With a total of 12 wins, #17 Sevastova is having a decent season, which includes a semifinal at Brisbane (first event of the year) and the third round at Doha.

Tennis Prediction: Victoria Azarenka to win the match
Odds: 1.77
